Horses are a predominant species, especially in the Argentine Pampas, but also throughout the country. This animal is a companion of man in farm work. The tails of the Argentine horse are characterized by being very long (30 to 50 cm. average) and made up of very thick and strong hair. Moreover, the low temperatures in Patagonia Argentina make the hair even stronger and longer.
